This weekend my son and I had an amazing time at Pingles!
Out of sheer curiosity we decided to check out if they were offering winter activities and voila! There it was, snowshoeing!
We have never gone snowshoeing before, and to be honest, we are summer people, but the weather was perfect!
They have many trails to choose from, rentals were inexpensive and the guide was great.
The price also included a nice warm drink in their Farmers Market afterwards!

Enjoy the fresh country air while you walk, snowshoe or cross-country ski across the Pingle’s property. We have 148 acres of farm fields for you to explore and will provide a map with suggested routes to take.
Covid-19 Update: January 13, 2021
Snowshoeing will still be operating during the Ontario lockdown. As per the Ontario governments guidelines (you can find them here) snowshoeing is an APPROVED outdoor recreational activity. Exercise & fresh air is a great way to practice self care during the lockdown. Please note, we will only be accepting bookings of 5 people or less, & all people attending MUST reside at the same household. If you do not respect these rules, Pingle’s reserves the right to ask your group to leave the premises.
General Admission (ages 2-92) – $6 + HST
Includes access to the farm snowshoe/cross-country ski trails for 2 hours and a hot chocolate from our main market. Customers are welcome to bring their own Snowshoeing or Cross-Country Skiing equipment if they would prefer not to rent. If the weather does not cooperate (i.e…. there’s no snow!) Customers are welcome to pay general admission to walk the trails on foot.
General Admission + Snowshoe Rentals (Ages 2-92) $16 + HST / 2 hours
We have snowshoe rentals available in 2 hour time windows if you don’t have your own!
30’ Snowshoe Rental – 170-250lbs with gear on.
27’ Snowshoe Rental – 140-180lbs with gear on.
21’ Child Snowshoe Rental – 110 lbs and under with gear on.
19’ Child Snowshoe Rental – 80lbs and under with gear on.
Friendly furry friends are welcome to join your snowshoeing adventure, as long as they stay on leash and you clean up after them!
